José L. Medina-Franco is a Full-Time Professor, directing the Computer-Aided Drug Design (DIFACQUIM) research group. He has published 320 articles in indexed journals and 25 chapters in books, has one international patent, and has edited four books. He has given more than 110 lectures. He is a member of the National System of Researchers Level III.
In October 2017, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry of the United Kingdom. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Technological University of Pereira, Colombia, at the University of Quebec, in Montreal, Canada, and at the University of Strasbourg, France.
