Obesity science must go beyond generating knowledge and be translated into concrete actions that contribute to its prevention, treatment, and the improvement of population health.
Under this approach, the aim is to strengthen the connection between scientific evidence, innovation, and the implementation of multidisciplinary strategies—from research and clinical practice to public policy—to address obesity in a comprehensive manner.
The objective is for scientific findings to be transformed into solutions, programs, and informed decisions that create a real impact on the prevention and treatment of obesity, ultimately benefiting society.
