Felipe Lombó Burgos, PhD in Biology, is an expert in Microbiology and head of the BIONUC Research Group (Biotechnology of Nutraceuticals and Bioactive Compounds) in the Department of Functional Biology at the Microbiology Area of the University of Oviedo.
He is a former director of the Research Support Area of the AEI Project, and he is also a member of the Microbiology Area at the University of Oviedo. He led the study on 100% natural acorn-fed ham versus inflammatory bowel diseases. He was a speaker at the III Congress of Industrial Microbiology and Microbial Biotechnology.
Furthermore, he is a co-author of numerous scientific studies, such as Biocidal nanoporous membranes with inhibitory activity on biofilm formation at critical points in the production process of the dairy industry, and he has been involved in research projects as a design leader.
